Father Christmas is requesting the help of children and big folk to care for and nurture a beautiful gift of an acorn, to enable it to grow into our trees and forests of tomorrow. Please keep an eye on socials for a special tree planting day later in 2023, when you will be invited back with your sapling to plant it on the Estate.

Each child will receive a gift suitable for three years and above, but children of all ages are welcome. This is a shared experience with other families. There will be a 25 min activity followed by a group storytelling and meet and greet with Father Christmas where photos will be able to be taken. Father Christmas has many children to see during this time so please be on time, the woodland helpers will endeavour to accommodate late comers but in busy periods this may not be possible.

If you or anyone in your group is showing COVID symptoms please DO NOT attend the session. We will offer you a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours prior to your booked session.

Parking is limited on site. The woodland helpers kindly ask that you lift share as much as possible and to please arrive at the car park no more than 10 minutes before the start of the event, and to make your way straight to the Mansion House promptly for the start of the event marked on your time slot.

After your session please make your way back to the carpark to leave within 15 mins, so as to free up the limited number of car park spaces for the following sessions. For example: if you have a midday session, you are invited to the car park at 11:50 ahead of your midday entry, and 12:45 will be your end of your session. Please vacate the car park by 13:00. Your co-operation is appreciated to enable everyone to  park and enjoy the festive experience.

The Gardens are NOT open during December. Refreshments will NOT be available so please bring drinks and snacks as appropriate for a 45 min experience.

Please note that Seasonal Membership passes are NOT valid for this event.

Advance booking only – no sales on the gate!
